Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities in Korea, including office spaces, data centers, and other specialized software development environments. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures that align with the specific needs of the software industry, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Manage and coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of the facilities. Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, security, and operations, to support the integration of facility management practices with software development processes and technologies. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary resources and support services for facility maintenance and operations. Implement and oversee facility security measures, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols. Manage the facility budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facility management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers to understand and meet specific needs and requirements to provide internal customer with high-level satisfaction, but within corporate standards and guidelines. While the primary role is focused on supporting our offices in Korea, there will be expectation to travel to and support other locations in the region. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus. Proven experience in facility management, preferably in the software industry or a related technical field. Strong understanding of building systems, infrastructure, and technologies relevant to software development facilities, such as power distribution, HVAC, networking, and security systems. Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to facility management, safety, and environmental compliance in Korea. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive projects to successful completion. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Korean and English, both written and spoken. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented approach to facility management. |
