Key Responsibilities

 Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities in Korea, including office spaces, data centers, and

other specialized software development environments.

 Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures that align with the specific

needs of the software industry, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

 Manage and coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the safety, functionality,

and efficiency of the facilities.

 Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, security, and operations, to support the integration of

facility management practices with software development processes and technologies.

 Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary resources and support

services for facility maintenance and operations.

 Implement and oversee facility security measures, including access control, surveillance systems, and

emergency response protocols.

 Manage the facility budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facility management professionals, fostering a culture of

excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers to understand and meet specific

needs and requirements to provide internal customer with high-level satisfaction, but within corporate

standards and guidelines.

 While the primary role is focused on supporting our offices in Korea, there will be expectation to travel

to and support other locations in the region.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.

Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

 Proven experience in facility management, preferably in the software industry or a related technical

field. Strong understanding of building systems, infrastructure, and technologies relevant to software

development facilities, such as power distribution, HVAC, networking, and security systems.

 Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to facility management, safety, and environmental

compliance in Korea.

 Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive projects to successful

completion.

 Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively

with internal and external stakeholders.

 Proficiency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.

 Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented approach to facility management.
