Digital Design Engineer

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for image sensor development from RTL to test setup such as timing controller design, ISP, Synthesis, STA, Test development and etc.

• Logic Design

- Timing control design of ERS and global shutter

- Analog interfaces of image sensor.

- OTPM control and motion detection algorithm

- Interpolation logics including bad pixel correction.

- SMIA spec. image formatter and synchronizer block.

• Back-End Processes

- Synthesis by design compiler.

- Static timing analysis by PrimeTime.

- Logic equivalence test by Formality.

• Verification

- Functional verification of several million gate ASICs, setup verification environments

- Designing verification components, implementing functional coverage and assertions

- analyzing and debugging simulation failures

- UVM experience

• Full-chip integration and verification.

• Chip bring-up, validation, and debugging.

• Architecture, registers, interface and design documentation.

• Plan, organize, execute and thoroughly document your work, with limited supervision.

Requirements:

• Familiar with digital design flow, image sensor digital design and verification

 including verilog RTL coding/simulation, synthesis, static timing analysis, and formality.

• Use C, C++, MATLAB, Perl programming language for design verification or modeling.

• Tools

- Design Compiler for Synthesis.

- PrimeTime for Static Timing Analysis.

- ISE(XILINX) for FPGA logic synthesis and P&R

• Self-motivated, with a passion for imaging technologies.

• Should have excellent communication and team working skills.

• Over 7 years digital design experience.

• Educational: BSEE of equivalent, MSEE strongly preferred.
